Beware of the Fluff and the BS in the mine field world of Home Business. I'm sure many appear to be FANTASTIC Companies where you can just put your feet up, do very little, and generate MASSIVE amounts of cash to your pocket. They have a good sales pitch and their comp plan looks good too.

What I notice is that their Company webpages look VERY good ... and it must be a 'well oiled' company in order to spend so much on their websites! But, as I will show you many pose like a Treasure Chest but once uncovered reveal only items which are cheap and basically worthless. These companies just don't work for the average person ... and there are many reasons for this.

Now Please Pay attention here - this information will SAVE YOU heartache and from an empty wallet ... or purse!

Many Companies will have you on autoship and YOU become the Companies income. Yes you may make Sales ... however YOU are the main income for these companies.

Once they have you on auto ship the Company has an income almost garaunteed each month - yes, they love that set up!

Many only pay about 2% to 15% so many levels deep. They will tell you that when you fill the matrix, you won't have to do anything and you'll be making 20 to 40k a month. The truth is, there are so many loop holes to their comp plans that no body ever reaches those levels.

You either will have too many people on your left, but not enough on your right side to make the higher level payouts. They tell you that you need more personal volume and your group volume is fine or vice versa, or my favorite, you had fallout this month, so you no longer qualify for that car bonus we promised you about.

You have most probably been asked to hold parties or demonstrations at your house. Invite Friends, Family and ... everyone else!! You don't feel too comfortable about this do you?

Be honest with yourself. You see the main problem here is that those who have been invited will no doubt buy a product from you, or give you their time - HOWEVER, they will do it through SYMPATHY.

Why? They have an EMOTIONAL connection with you and feel OBLIGATED to support you. Now, think to yourself, is this how you want to run a Home Business? Through Sympathy, having people feel obliged to help? No, I don't think so either.

It just seems like there is so many below average companies on the internet, how do you determine what is good and what is not? Some of these companies above actually have a good product, but I would never go in business with them. After all that's what you want isn't it?

Make Money - Lots of it!! The bottom line is that you need to feed the kids, take care of your family ... and many of these companies just don't cut it in that respect.

So, how do I choose a business that I can profit from and that I can be proud to represent?

KEYS TO FINDING THE RIGHT COMPANY FOR YOU:

1. If you are making less than 75% in commissions then - forget it. In simple terms - you are doing all of the work and the person above you is reaping the rewards. Thats no way to run a business.

2. If you have to recruit 1000's of people into your team in order to make any REAL money - then DO NOT JOIN. Why do you think home businesses have a 97% failure rate. (too Much work for very LITTLE return!)

3. We have already discussed why Home Parties and home demonstrations are not a good idea. Many upline Sponsors will say - DO IT! If they do ... you know that they have no idea about internet marketing! I hope you read above and didn't join them.

4. After at least 3 Sales you should be in the Profit. No ifs or buts or "work harder" - MUST make a Profit after at LEAST 3 Sales.

6. Make sure you can speak to the Owners of the Company - not just your Sponsor/Mentor. If it is a REAL business then treat it like one. You become a marketing partner with the owner - therefore you MUST know who you are in business with and your sponsor IS NOT your business Partner.

7. Do NOT Join start ups/ Pre Launch businesses. Most of these don't even get off the ground - and your money is GOOONNNNEEEE!

These are not all the rules for success on the internet, but this is a great guideline to follow when evaluating an internet company. Choosing the right Company will prevent many headaches in you business future.
